My daughter had a habit to support.
She kept asking, "How can I get money, LOTS of money?"

How CAN the average young child make money, even LOTS of money?

We didn't have an answer for our 10 year old Princess.
She had tasted the satisfaction of earning her own money and of spending it herself. And she wanted more!

She sold my fabulous mint-chip brownies in the neighborhood.

She unloaded her unwanted toys in yard sales.

She tried selling her wonderfully zany artwork, but the world wasn't ready for it.

She hawked mistletoe, though with each passing holiday season it grew tougher as she outgrew the cute tiny-little-girl look that had boosted sales.

She wanted to buy and service a vending machine, but that was out of her reach.

Princess continued to ask, "How can I make money, LOTS of money?"
Oh, her habit? Giving. Princess LOVES to give.

One of her favorite charities is a local kids-at-risk foundation. And Heifer, International, is another.

At Christmas she had an absolute blast, delighted as she watched family members open the gifts she'd carefully planned, bargain-shopped for, and wrapped, all by herself. "But I want to give more."

She kept up the broken record, "How can I make money, LOTS of money?"
Then the ???'s jumped to attention!!!

Her Answer showed up.

Very simply.

Very affordably.

And very right-away-profitably.

Within a few days Princess had me run her to the bank so she could stand in line ("All by myself, please!") to deposit the money she'd made into her very own account. Hundreds of dollars. She never made that kind of money selling mistletoe or my fab mint-chip brownies!
 
Not even when she was still in the cute tiny-little-girl stage.

But she DID make that kind of money selling gourmet soy/veg candles! And we both had a lot of fun doing it.

I was impressed. So impressed, in fact, that I decided to partner with my young daughter in this very simple, very profitable, fun home business.

I didn't want to miss this great opportunity to coach her in important life and business skills. Nor the "LOTS of money" part...
